Title: Dominions 4: Thrones of Ascension

So here's a thing.

Anyone who's played any of the the previous Dom games will know what this is about. The rest of you, if you dig hardcore turn-based strategy, it's probably worth a spin. Demo's not out yet, though.

Does anyone have it yet? I'm waiting for the demo myself.

I loved Dominion 3 but this shit just looks the same, whats actually new? inb4 gfx suck, because yeah they do.

And £23? Think I will wait for price drop or just pirate it to see if its any better than 3.

Agree. So many years later and Dom4 looks exactly like 3. Will probably buy it, once it hits 75% steam sale.

Yeah, after reading more about this, it's basically just an improved version of Dominions 3, like a major patch or expansion, not worth £23 IMO.

Yeah, I'm not really convinced it's worth it at that price either. The improvements sound pretty neat, but there doesn't seem to be enough to justify the price point.

I'll definitely give the demo a spin, though, and probably buy it on sale. Thankfully that's an option now that they finally ditched those Shrapnel shitbags.

For those who don't already have Dom3 though, it should be plenty worth it even at the current price. Can't really know when it'll go on sale.

Steam sale, 50% off. I'm getting it. Might be the only thing I buy there.
