EyeBeat told us (Nigerians) if we changed our names we'd be unbanned.

I changed mine, so if any admins paying attention could help, that'd be all sorts of banana pancakes awesome.

The fact that you received a warning for having an African country in your name is quite ridiculous. Countdown until I receive a warning as well for "cluttering" the ban section. Good luck anyway.

Actually, I think the only reason he agreed to unban us was that there was no warning given. We didn't even know who banned us.

It was also what was being said in chat that got them the ban.  Thanks for your 2 cents though.
