Title: BATTLE FOR XP: Rondel Dagger Justice

Murdertron and I figured it might be fun to do some XP battles since nothing is really happening on strat right now.  To get things started, we're doing a small 500 vs 500 full plate rondel dagger fight.

To get accepted, you must:

1. Apply for both sides
2. Show your stats on your application (14 strength min. requirement)
3. be in TS before (15 minutes) and during the battle at 198.211.124.245 in the RONDEL XP BATTLE channel.

Two forward spawns will be placed in close vicinity of one another, the killing fields will be in the area between them.  The forward spawns are NOT to be broken and you MUST spawn with armor and a rondel dagger.  Smoke bombs are optional.

Everyone is invited, just meet the above requirements and you have a good chance of being accepted.


This is sort of the test run, if it goes well we may do larger battles in the future.  Possibly themed battles, who knows?  Leave some suggestions.

P.S. We're prioritizing NA players, sorry to you Yuropans.

ALSO keep your filthy nerd feud drama out of this XP battle, I don't want stacked rosters.  We're having fun and xp, not tears and butt hurt.

Thanks to everyone who showed up!  Someone said we got like 400k XP out of it, which is pretty fucking good for only having used 1000 tickets total.

Here's the video of the battle.  I guess it won't show better quality until YouTube processes it.  Anyway, it was a good time and good experience.  There will be more in the future.

Also, I am taking suggestions for the weapons in the next battle.  All battles will be single weapon only.  Don't choose Great Mauls, because not everyone has 20 str.  I'd like to keep it around 15str requirement, as all the armor is capped at 14.

Arbalests.
Nothing but Arbalests and steel bolts with plate armour. The XP will be insane and we can have line battles and shit.
