I for one totally love the new DTV. They ARE hard, and they SHOULD be. They actually require some degree of teamwork, whether it's camping or bait-and-switching or mixtures of both.

I would vote for everything but the DTV suggestion. Now it's really funny to fight against the bots, since there's less hack and slay. The gamecrashbackup would be very nice...

* Some ppl often have game crashes, it is really annoying that you loose you multiplicator, when your game crash
idea: The multiplicator gets saved for 2-3 min(or until end of round= to prevent abuse), after a player disconnected(crashed)
Too easy to exploit:
"oh no! we are about to loose and I have x5 multiplier! <pulls out the network cable> pew... just in time. OK, back to the game."

You didn't read the last part...
If you would loose the server should reset you to X1 even if you are not connected anymore.

//edit:
He even said that the saved multis should be deleted on mapchange...
That's even better, because you could avoid repair costs otherwise.

+1 for the idea of this thread.

Taleworlds had a stickied suggestions thread that tried to collect and analyze the general populaces ideas, suggestions and opinions. Its a very nice thread, but i don't know if you're planning to do this? Heres the thread: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,77696.0.html (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,77696.0.html)

Also, good ideas except for DTV, I believe it should be hard.

* why are random plains in the mapcycle of "every" siege server? These maps are very unbalanced, because ther are no walls

I really disagree, in fact: the plains maps are the most balanced maps.

The open maps force teamplay and are great fun. Bring a siege shield if you want a wall to hide behind. Bring a pike if cav bothers you. Make a plan with your team and see if the plan works out.

+1 Most team start off with no cover or objective to work with, so just charge headlong at the enemy. Cavalry... just... cavalry... Then some people try to put plans together. Obviously some people don't read chat. Some of those people will follow others. The others will just charge again, and again. But the random plains are definitely the most balanced maps. THE most balanced map would be a plain, flat steppe map. That would really show teamwork. And would really get a lot of whine. ^_^

the idea of the tread was to make a collection of my ideas (more are comming^^),
not a collection of all suggestion ( i'm too lazy to do that)

// Update (new ideas + edited the old)
hint: i will remove ideas if they   are not liked :)

I agree, always liked them the best. But since the devs grew up in the swiss alps, "plains" is often, well...
But the OP was talking about random plains on the siege server...

Random plains are good as long as you spawn at a great distance as attacker. Otherwise the defenders will be overrun regardless of what they try. The last map of this type I played on had a 10 seconds walk to the flag as attacker. With spawntimes of 5 vs 30 seconds you can't call that balanced ;)

Or the attackers spawn at the flag and the defenders have to run ;)
The spawns seem a little but "fail" at these maps

Random plains on siege servers is a bug. It seems to pop up each time a patch is released.

i know, but mean it like this:

if your are in the special/donator group you don't have to enter a password on connect.
The same is for the administrator (no private/admin pw needed anymore)
