Shooting from horseback is more difficult than shooting unmounted.

If you said HA is gay I'd have to agree, but Ranged Cav takes more skill than ranged players on foot.

what? how does it take more skill? sure the recticule is bigger, but your mounted on a horse.

if you cant hit them while galloping? simply stop or slow your horse
enemy inf is near you? your horse can easily outrun them, and while your galloping off to safety, feel free to shoot the inf who dare get near you!
whats that? out of arrows/enemy shielder/enemy back is turned? simply trot into them, and knockem down, while your at it, feel free to shoot an arrow in their ass while their down!
horse dead? its ok, you can still function as a regular archer!
dont want your horse to die, and you have some gold? feel free to grab a heavy horse! have fun being a medieval battle tank! dont forget to slowly trot into people, they will still take damage or get knocked down, dont forget to shoot their ass on the ground! dont worry about even getting close to the inf you dont want too! a heavy horse is still a lot faster than anything on foot, and can take a alot of hits!

guess what? a regular archer cant do any of that stuff

My regular archer build (24/18, longbow bodkins) can 2 shot people in heavy armor without any accuracy penalty. You also get the ability to reduce that and go 2hnd/archer, which in my opinion is the best class in the game.

I've had to hit people up to 6 times with my HA 15/24 build.

You make a lot of valid points, but when I'm running around on any melee character I prioritize ranged that are foot vs mounted ranged. I'd much rather take 3 horse archer arrows and be at 1/2 hp, than get shot once by an arbalest user.

HA are more annoying but all you have to do is find one wide tree, because if you hide behind and circle it they'll never be able to hit you.

edit: One more thing, actually being a mounted ranged character builds a lot of aggro on the server and everyone will target that player. It takes a good level of intelligence, battle awareness, and an ability to compensate for all factors that it takes to shoot someone moving full speed on a horse.

lets be honest,  most skill takes the class that I play,  and gayest is the class I cannot counter well.

Not really, I play shielder, I have autoblock, that doesn't require skill in manual blocking, but it still takes a shitload more than HA
And with my shield, I can counter arrows easily.

This excuse of "I HATE WAT KILLED MEH" doesn't always apply

It's harder to be a devestating HA/HX than any other non-troll builds in this game.

I don't know about that, I can't shoot for nothing on the ground, but on horse-back I make every shot

I've actually been playing HA myself for a bit on a STF character, and - Oh wait. I can't. For some reason I can't seem to take in the massive horse cock that it required of me when I attempt to play cav.

In retrospect, I've played ranged and HA. My synopsis? HA is easier and more effect. EDIT: And more fun.
