So yeah, shield and horse heirlooms got nerfed. Idk why and Idc why, I will simply explain why this is doing nothing good to both classes in terms of diversity, not to mention that heirloomed shields and horses were not overpowered at all.
Shields and horses that were unattractive to use prepatch, were made attractive by looming them. Giving them stats closer to that 'best' shield or horse. Which meant people could choose which one for themselves. Yet now these heirlooms get an unannounced nerf (where did I see that before?) and choosing the best equipment is yet again encouraged.
Yet I thought I saw cmpx saying something about nerfing to get people to use other items?
Either this is a rushed patch or the guys behind this are smoking some stuff I don't want to know about.

Although mighty devs I greatly appreciate the extra speed on shield heirlooms, the amount of HP and Amour given up to get that small smidgen of speed is not worth it at all.
I would much rather take the previous heirloom options for shields then the current ones.
Drink up.

I stopped reading there and attributed the rest of the post to magi living in a constant state of la-la land.

This does far less damage to diversity than the demolishing of half the throwing weapons in the game.

This sounds like they were just putting it on par with all the other heirlooms. Seriously why should they have gotten +15 hitpoints, +? armor, +4 maneuavrability, +4 speed, +10 charge to make them high speed jets turning on a dime? Not sure how the shield thing will work out, think it would be kind of cool to see how fast you can swing using a triple heirloomed buckler now.

Which would be perfectly fine if the courser and arabian warhorse weren't the best horses around, perfectly fine when the armoured horses were worth it to heirloom.
Only light horses needed an heirloom nerf because of this, only armoured horses got hit by this.

Yeah, I noticed my lordly armour had +1 armour too. Nice.
