Title: Skip the Fun Major Bug!

I deleted all my alts and pressed the skip the fun feature. I got lvl 30 ( i was level 25 prior to that).

And i also got 10k gold. Follow me so far? Good. I also got to keep my heirlooms and all gear from before i pressed it.

And then i was able to retire and i did. Because i expected to become level 30 with complete respec. But i got just the remaining skills points and attribute points. So i retired. And then i got to keep my 10k gold and everything. However i cannot get instant level 30.

I'm level 2 now as far as i know. And i can gain experience points.
So you pretty much gain those 10k gold for free.

Would appreciate feedback from Developers.


/EDIT: Scratch this....i pretty much effed my char up lol. It said i gained a level ingame but at the webpage i'm level 1.

So take my mistake as warning everyone who does this! Retire first!

I put all chars to level 30 xp again for now - we're not yet sure if we'll disallow retirement or make you go to level 30 again when you retire. we'll discuss this, refrain from retiring until then :P

Redo that, I missed this bug until i tested that "skip fun" option and... stuck at 1lvl with 1 character! HOW LOVELY!

EDIT

Umm... I'd say let us retire into 30 lvl (I'd call it restat option).

I think those that "skip the fun" shouldn't be allowed to have heirloomed equipment, because they are traitors to the great purpose of cRPG  :evil:

We should get to insta 30 lvl with a restat option and only 10k for start I think.

Yep. Skip the fun = lvl 30 character with no chance to level up or heirloom. Not because they are traitors but because it will be abused by grinders otherwise.

since they got a lot of fun to lose, they should be able to reset their builds without losing lvl 30
