This is a "choose your own adventure" type of "game" website:  http://chooseyourstory.com/

I've played the zombie one (http://chooseyourstory.com/story/dead-man-walking-%28zombie-survival%29) quite a bit over the years and if you play it right, it will take at least an hour of your time (with multiple paths and endings).  It's a game for when you can't be seen "playing" a game (it's just text based).

If anyone else has any other "text" based, or not super graphical/"game" Looking type of games, I'd like to try them out too.

I don't care for Skrillex or dubstep in general, but this browser game is a good waste of time. NES Zelda clone about a glitchy/corrupted cartridge destroying the kingdom that exists inside the game.

Give it a try! It's different from the usual 2D flash games that run in your web browser.

This thread is relevant for work. Does anyone know a good browser game that focuses on economy and stuff, and not the usual build town, build army and get destroyed by pay2win players?

I played minethings.com (http://minethings.com) for a good while.

And many years ago I played Alien Adoption Agency (http://alienaa.com/), but frankly I have no idea what it's like nowadays. I played it maybe 8 years ago, but it appears to still be around.

Admittedly, it's only disguised as a 'time-waster'.

Credence (http://acritch.com/credence-game/) is a quiz game that makes consider how sure you are about your answers.

Prediction Book (http://predictionbook.com/) is a community web app that allows you to make bets on just about any prediction you have, with virtual money. If you turn out to be pretty decent at the current events stuff, you might want to try your hand at a prediction market that involves real money later.

This is a nice one. However, I just couldn't unlock one last little tiny mystery block. Anybody get everything?
