Title: Retiring in strat battle with different name
Post by: Scervo on September 11, 2013, 10:40:05 pm
If you retire at the beginning of a strat battle and you choose to change name and gender, will it still work like usual where you can get the xp to count for the next gen, or will it not recognize your character? I dont wanna end up level 1 in a strat battle and have to ditch, so if anyone has actually done this before itd be useful. I asked on NA_1 and got conflicting answers so please be able to back up whatever you answer =P thanks!

Retiring and changing your name works fine in strat battles.

it works, sure; it does however make you a massive dick.

I doubt it, because you will still be level 31 in the battle, so you wont leech with simple peasant armors and get a 0-70 score anyway :D

If it made you level 1 for the battle I wouldnt be doing it; that's why I was asking the question. I don't understand how that makes someone a dick

oh, ok, i thought you were retiring at the start of the battle and then leeching xp from level 1, some people do that

so if you are lvl 31 and you are already in the server and you retire on the website do you stay lvl 31 ingame but will get exp for youre new progress?

You can just be a contructor if you´re low lvl , I did it loads of times. Just spend all your effort in making the base as strong as possible.

Still is kind of a cheesy way to lvl up fast. Then again, that's what strat battles are for I have been told...

Umm ... well if you change gender and the name, and want to have it in the strat fight you have to reconnect - what makes you a massive dickhead.
And retiring while in the strat battle, changing gender and name, but still beeing in that strat fight with the old character should do it fine.
