History
During spring break, a group of rich teens take their 300 foot super yacht to go sailing in the Gulf of Aden with super models.  On a sunny but otherwise uneventful day, their totally sweet vessel is suddenly swallowed by a vortex in a freak storm.  When the teens come to, they find that they've been magically transported to the world of Calradia.  Also, there is a pet tiger.

Religion
All pirates worship Broseidon, lord of the Brocean.  High-fives are often peformed in hopes of favorable winds.

Gear and Equipment
We have no official uniform or restricted gear.  Pirates did not possess good blacksmithing services and most of their supplies came into their possesion from raids, theft or as payment for ransom.  However, if you have no idea what to wear, a loosely arab/sarranid theme works well.  Heavy armor is not particularly fitting for pirates as they would drown easily.

Builds
There are no recommended or restricted builds.  However, pirates often favored mobility over might.  Direct engagements would often lead to heavy losses and a good pirate might have to escape many sinking ships in his lifetime.

Armory
Pirates share their plunder and booty with their crew.  Fees are in place in order to keep members from monopolizing the armory.  The fees also help pay for the banner.

Strategus

Recruitment
There is a hazing process and its not technically legal. We will also circle all the fat on your body while everybody watches.

Bank is low right now, but don't worry.  Anyway, to be transparent, I paid out 50k to Partyboy earlier because he accidently extended our banner by a month, thinking he bought one for Bird clan.  I also paid out 130k to myself because there was a trade I wanted, but considering I bought the original banner for 120k and didn't take anything out til now, I'm pretty much even.  If the bank is too low to get a banner, next time it goes, I will pony up myself and get it.
