Title: I feel like a retard

Man, it's been so long since I've done this I don't remember...

A friend is asking me how to join a clan on the c-rpg website.  I told him to go to Clan / Ladder, Join existing Clan, find the name of the clan, and then join.  But he said it wasn't working.
So I went and tried it on an alt and I couldn't get it to work either.  Can pull up a clan, but there's no "join" option.

Thanks for any info on this!

You have to apply and be accepted by someone who has the rank to accept you.

Draggon!, I think it fails for you because you're main is in the clan, it's failing for me too >.>. With my alt, I searched for a random clan, and am able to apply [the apply to clan is next to the clan name when you click on the clan's link], however I can't apply to SHC with it

I think with alts you can only support a clan.

Normally you can join any clan with any character. The "support a clan"-option gives you only the option to use a banner from a clan one character is already a member of. That way you don't have to pester one of the high rank members to accept all your alts. This only works if your character in the clan has rank 5 or higher tho.
