Title: Add overhead to 2h secondary mode
Post by: Nordwolf on August 31, 2013, 08:34:37 pm
I think this is the only reason I don't use them....
Don't really know why is this like that.... probably to balance higher stab rate? But it's already like 3 times worse than 2h stab.

I think it's logical to have it anyway.

I'd support anything to give pole mode an actual purpose.  It stands to reason that if the right swing is done with both hands on the handle, then why can't the wielder do the same for overhead?  Obviously it would have to use 2h animation, because half a wording would bring the handle into your own gut.

Change the wpf base to 2h as well, it annoys me how half-sword mode has almost no purpose other than the once-in-a-blue-moon-try-hard-feint or when you're actually a polearmer.

Give it a murder stroke or a high stab of some sort because, y'know, we're talking half-swording here.

I think that half-swording needs a buff in terms of damage or speed.

I like that it uses pole wpf, so you can choose to be proficient in it or not.
