Title: Attack Warning when using Launch program

Getting a warning when connecting from my antivirus about intrusion attack attack via inappropriate socket (!!!! sounds painful) when using launch program. Does not happen every time and the IP involved varies. Has the launcher got hacked?

Trying to work out if disable antivirus was a joke or not?

This is still happening, a US based IP apparently trying to access my computer when running launch, but not every time. If the update server is Euro based I find this of concern.

I checked the launcher on the website and it's clean. Maybe you got a virus from somewhere else and it infected the one you downloaded.

Don't disable your AV

Update your AV to the latest definitions and run a full system scan.

If you don't have it already, download Malwarebytes and run a full system scan, if you do have it update it and run a full system scan.

After each scan shut down and restart your computer. Let your AV remove any infection found, if it finds something after restarting your computer perform another full system scan until nothing is found.

You can also use online scanners if you feel necessary

Thanks all.

I have a good AV that updates, scans ongoing and does full scans every week. I also flagged this to their log.

Not worried the computer has been hacked, after all AV catches it. Not sure if it was just me, if not maybe not all players have constant AV.
