Wow - no honor or class. We have been offered shit like that before but we would never take it - its a pretty ugly form of cheating. An entire clan's troops buildup for months just stolen because of crpg looms that should have nothing to do with strategus, like buying characters with real dollars. Only good thing is the strat reset is coming in next few months and you guys just wasted 9 loom points on their weakest castle.

You don't get one thing. Mercs are not mad because we've lost 20+k of troops, castle, gold, equipment etc. We're upset because we've lost a Merc in a way we've never faced before. You know, we and Greys have different sight on pretty much everything when it comes to clan system. We've lost a friend whom we could trust. And that guy turned out to be a massive asshole, who didn't only betray the name of the clan but also betrayed every single member who put money in the clanbank, gathered resources and troops in Strategus and so on. It's a small loss for our pockets but a certain loss for our hearts.

I find it funny that ACHILLES2545 (aka know as Mercurial, Slash and Tempa_T and 50 other nicknames) is fighting for Mercs honor now. Don't you get it? You're never gonna be a full member of Mercs (you should've realized that when you were in their Academy for 8 months and then tried to rejoin with another nickname and got instantly removed after they found out).
You're saying that Wolves are assholes here and there, yet you did the exact same thing (lower amount of course) to Shu Han (Byzantium). The guy took 1.2k troops from Shu Han when he left Byzantium. Kept his village that we gave him and hired mercs to defend it once Shu Han wanted it back.
Equipment was 1k shiny along with 16k trade goods and 16k horsies.
My point: stop being a little hypocrite :)
And yes, it does indeed suck for Mercs for being punished by members greed.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. On the one hand it's actually quite hilarious that mercs got punched in the groin once again, but on the other hand i find this action to be so...low. I mean, yeah, backstabs can be nice and keep the game fresh, but crpg-looms for a strat castle and troops+gold? Meh. What's the fun in that. I hope you will use those troops to attack some merc castles, because now they are definitely not going to get out of them. Or attack coalition with them, that'd be fine, too =D
Also, what's with everyone saying that strat is getting wiped anytime soon? Because of what harald posted some time ago? Lol, yeah right. He just simply stated that strat will be wiped again at some point. That could be tomorrow or in one year.

Why ppl ar so stupid,like i say it was 6 looms from greys and 2 from volvs,and ye ye they will restart the game we dont care,we will use this troops to attak ur castle when u got 10 k in it coz u ar to low to make a normal battel but that is not a secret,and yes we got a lot of gold and a lot of looms players like obi one whonext nogul they got like 100 looms,so it is not a problem for them rly.

After the forum drama started I thought this over carefully once again and I came to the conclusion that there is really nothing wrong in accepting Dolby's offer, since it was his offer and noone forced or convinced him to do it. His choice, his reputation. We stopped worrying about GO reputation long time ago :D
It is all part of the game - quarrels (and bans) on TSes, this forum and the traditional exchange of invectives, trading crpg gold/items for strat goods and troops... Things like trading troops for crpg fgold happend before, and noone cared. But here we have lost castle and guy who did what he did, so the emotions kicked in :D

Well if it's a clan bank, and he's part of the people who can withdraw from the clan bank, it's not stealing. Maybe dishonorable.
