There is, with true peasants and some headshots.

Eh. I haven't been one shotted by archery in a while. Even on my thrower with no IF. Been wearing peasant gear too. Maybe they could have killed me at like, level 6.

I agree that it needs to happen more often on lower armoured players, but anyone with decent armour should still never never be instantly killed. Or even really feel it.

I get one shotted once in a while, headshots from bows and even sometimes bodyshots from arbalests.

I'm lvl 30 15/24 w/ 2 IF.
I wear phygarian helmet and mail with fur + mail gauntlets +1
