How is bonus from skill points (e.g. shield skill, power throw) calculated? Does the difficulty level of item decrease bonus from skill points? Let's say my char has 6 Power throw and I use throwing axes with 3 difficulty. How much in this case is my dmg increased? By 30% (3 PT above difficulty level of item * 10%) or by 60 % (6 PT * 10%)?
I just noticed there's info on the website that bonus from Power Draw is capped at 4 above used bow's difficulty, but there's no such info in the case of shield skill or power throw. Still it doesn't explain if bonus is added after reaching the level of item's difficulty or if it's calculated from first skil point, no matter what's the difficulty of item.
And one more question, my char has 4 shield skill, so is there any difference in coverage from ranged attacks when I use round cav shield (2 diff) and when I use elite cav shield? Both of them have the same size.

PT isn't capped.

I've seen that in other threads.

Don't you worry falka, this thing only applies to bows. Shields and throwings are what they seem regardless of their diff (as long as you meet the diff requirement, to be able to use them of course)

The mechanic megathread just says you gain 10% damage per PT
Not +10% damage per PT above PT requirement.
So I would take that as 6PT is +60% damage on any throwing weapon you use no matter the requirements.
If you wanted to test it you could make a STF and get a friend to test the damage
start of with 3PT and see how much damage you do
Then 6PT
and then 9PT
EDIT - forgot the shield q
The megathread says shield skill increases the "force field" but as they are the same size I guess this means the force field size would be the same if you have the same shield skill.
The damage received should be the same as well (just the elite cav shield can take a lot more damage)
But I haven't tested either of these.. this is just the way I read it!
