We have these things called "taxes" in the good ol' US of A.  We take the collective money we gather from "everyone" and use it for the communal good "of the people". 

It's funny watching these retarded conservatives cry about socialism without realizing the irony.  Their whole point is really:

I personally like regulated capitalism, but I'd rather have a higher standard of living and pay more in taxes, than have a shitty standard of living and keep more for myself.  We spend so much money on bullshit (6 or 7 times more spent on the military than any other country in the world, the 2nd leading country is a trade partner of ours, and the 3rd leading country is an official ally). 

Our infrastructures are crumbling, we have a prison industrial complex, we have 1 or 2 decent mental health facilities in the country (and calling them decent is a stretch), we treat people with mental health problems as criminals (see addicts/prison industrial complex), we let people go bankrupt due to paying medical bills (aka trying to stay alive...), we end up paying for the poor people indirectly by paying for their medical bills for them (so much for conservative policies of letting the poor pull themselves up by the bootstraps).  We have people who actually believe that doing business with a middle man is a valid solution to the rising cost of medical care (anyone who's done drugs knows that a middle man is just an extra mouth to feed).

And that's just financially speaking.  Don't get me started on all the social issues we face in this country (the government spying on citizens and eroding rights in the name of safety being the ones most important to Americans liberties).
