Title: Origin Humble Bundle
Post by: Overdriven on August 15, 2013, 03:43:46 pm
New humble bundle is pretty good for about $5:
BF3
Sims 3
Dead Space
Dead Space 3
Mirrors Edge
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
Medal of Honor
Crysis 2

Even if you have a couple of the games it's still worth it.

Great! Now I won't feel so guilty pirating that shit because Origin is going nowhere near my hard drive!

well battlefield looks kinda good to me. i recently finished DS3 and i quite enjoyed it, it was a nice change from those shitty console ports. as for burnout, i didmt really caught me. all that free roaming gimmick along with no set tracks ruined it for me. also crashes are not too realistic imo. if there was any option how heavy impact is needed to initiate crash, then i might have fooled around with it a bit longer.

I'd disagree. Crysis 2 is supposed to be alright, Sims 3 is good for a bit depending on your tastes, Burnout I always loved on console. No idea about the original dead space.

But heck it's $5 there is simply no way to complain about that  :P

What do you mean? You either pay above the average and get extra Sims3 & BF3 or you pay less and don't get them as you ahve them already. It's just an extra key =)
You don't have to use it at all.

It's a key. So, you can use it, give it to someone, or sell it to a trustworthy guy.
Though BF3 key is usable on Origin only, you don't have a steam one for that game (neither for Dead Space 3 and Sims 3)

dead space 1 is not that bad either.

Probably not.
Often the keys come in bundles, at least for Steam it's the case, meaning you get one key which unlocks 3 games at the same time. I dunno how it works with Origin but if you have a separate key for Bf3 then... yea, try to sell or trade it.

dead space 1 is not that bad either.
Considering the gaming press, there is still the overall opinion that DS1 is actually the best of the 3.

DS1 is by far the best of Dead Space games, no question there.

And yeah, you get separate keys, for both steam and origin games.

can i activate game on both steam and origin? and if so can someone activate  game on his origin if i activated it on my steam?

I imagine you can only activate them on one or the other. Seeing as that code will then have been 'redeemed' once you do so. I activated the ones I could on steam and the others on origin.

Yea, I would definately stick it in Steam. Origin is garbage all out. Already due to fact that its a child of EA evil corporation, nobody really uses it and its a lot easier to get your account hijacked by cyberterrorists in Origin then Steam.

I activated a number of them on both steam and origin :o. (Why not :P)

Seems you can use the keys independently.

If you haven't done it already, humble bundles are the best times to get shit on steamgifts. I already have dead space and mirror's edge myself so if anyone wants them for free on either origin or steam just pm me. Ho yeah and BF3 too and I couldn't care less about MoH or DS3.

I bought bf3 at release and pirated the rest already but yeah I was pretty surprised about all those AAA titles in a humble for once.

Even more surprising is that EA is not getting a single direct and easy penny out of it.
