Title: I if may ask for a gif gents
Post by: Prpavi on August 11, 2013, 09:11:05 pm
Could someone please help me out and make a gif for me
it's from this video, I'd like a gif from a scene @6:57 and @7:03 just couple of seconds, I'd have those gifs as a sig here on the forums so if anyone is willing to do some work I'd pay 50k crpg gold for it. high quality is pretty much the only condition.
Love, Prpavi!

lol this video again! <3 neon nihongo lambo! Makes me want to ducktape a strobe light to the side of my 90's ford taurus for the lols.
I just noticed in the front shot of the 3 lambos, the two on his sides don't even have their headlights on, or maybe they do... looks like parking lights to me.

called projector headlights(similar to the units used in schools back in the day, if you are old enough to remember those, just a lot smaller), the light beam looks like it is glaring only when directly in front and low enough. If you are standing above the headlight and look down upon it, all you will see is a glowing circle. Most vehicles have halogen headlights which are yellow, those are essentially a bulb pointing backwards into a reflective metal pushing light forward. For the record do not put hid bulbs in halogen lights, they are not meant for it and will scatter the beam and look like shit, similar to what the leading vehicle has. He purchased a 100k dollar car but was too cheap to buy 300 dollar projectors and install them himself.....
i work on cars, though i dont have a lamborghini, i own a 2009 Evolution X

kewl, didn't know about those headlights. Definitely remember projectors from school though.
Those headlights don't even seem to be casting light on the pavement in front of the cars... maybe all the neon is outshining their projector headlights? :D

the fact that the light isnt seen on the ground leads be to believe it is one of two things. either;
A) Projectors do such a fantastic job at projecting light forward that the possibility is there that you do not see the light on the ground due to it being projected so far forward. I cant really explain how well projectors cast light forward with out pictures, but it will direct lights so much farther then any halogen light on a vehicle ever could.
or; B) Since they have all those flashy ground effects on the vehicle, they may have a small light in the projector shroud which illuminates the projectors shield causing a color effect and simulates the projector being on without it actually projecting light. It's a cool factor used in car shows to show off the headlights without blinding everyone down the way.
The outside lights are projecting white light, however the red shield shroud is painted red, so when staring at the vehicle the light appears red inside, but directs a white light on to the ground. The inside lights are not projecting a light and are actually fake and meant to appear as if they are projectors, however they have a light like stated above illuminating the shield creating the appearance of the projector being on. (note the shrouds can only be seen while directly above, and beside the vehicle, which is why you see red, but it shines white. Sub-note, all vehicles come stock with a aqua-blue shroud from the factory which is why projector lights which are stock appear bluish in hue.)

armpit sweat, did you use gifcam or are there any better programs? And how did you upload them with imgur? My gifs are always get rejected because they are too big.

Hmm.. I will need to come home and check what's the program is called.. listo, lespo, something starting with "L" :) Basically, you drag a square box with your mouse, an empty window of sorts, press "save" and it captures everything from the screen, within that square/window. An animated "Prt Scr". I edit the "raw" .gif file in Microsoft GIF Animator ( it can't handle big .gif files, otherwise it's perfect ). Both programs are free btw, and are VERY simple to use. As they should. Tried a handful of gif software before, and they were all terrible: needlessly complicated, or failed miserably in some other ways...
Files were both under 2 mb, so i could upload to imgur without any problems. Otherwise, you can use this:
http://postimage.org/ (http://postimage.org/) Direct links for this page work on my computer, but i had and issue once, where others couldn't see them.. You can give it a try anyway :)
when i am home, i will find another link, to a page where you can upload 25+ mb gif images. They don't store them forever though... BUT! I didn't have to "register", "sign in" or any of that bullshit.

Took them in HD resolution, but there must be some sort of automatic compression in place...
I want my gold to be donated to The Church of cRPG, so Gods would grant us their blessings! Or, if you have any pets at home, please give them an extra treat today, and say it was from me :)

My cats most favorite thing in the world ever is straws, so he got a nice srtaw from you Arm!
He's weight is actually perfect, around 6 kilos, I take good care of him, his nutrition and regular visits to the vet.
Google Scottish Fold, they are not your typical cats, just like Brittish Shorthair they are a bit bigger and stronger than "regular" domesticated cats plus they have thick fur so they look bigger than they actually are :3

I hate all these different type of "LED" Looking headlights. The people using them who are behind me when I'm driving are lucky I don't pack heat or I'd probably start shooting out their headlights. Talk about a safety issue...wish cops would police this shit more. It's blinding me, even when I have my rearview in the "night" mode. Also people who install their headlights incorrectly so it's shining up into my mirrors can eat a dick (and also should be cited by police).
/drives an SUV...so it's not that I'm just sitting "too low" to the road

Dude while we're sort of on the subject, my job has me driving around the metro area all day, and christ, I hate this state's drivers. Incomplete stops, failure to signal, everyone pushing 70 in a 55 while I try to maintain speed limit (can't afford a ticket in a work vehicle). I know it's just the bad-eggs that stand out, but they really stand out here. The main premise behind safety in conjunction with automobiles is the human element, of consenting to the rules of operation laid forth for us. All it takes is one rogue element to cause a catastrophe, intentionally or via carelessness.

Yeah driving around here really sucks ass. And I think that in "nicer" areas of the city, you'll find some of the worst drivers, because of a sense of entitlement, or because they have enough expendable money where getting in an accident isn't going to ruin their day. Obviously this is anecdotal, as some poorer areas with fresh off the boat immigrants are really bad drivers, but usually due to lack of experience or different driving experience than they're used to.
Wisconsin is a lot worse when it comes to people not using turn signals. In Minnesota they're almost as bad, it seems like a lot of people are just inconsiderate (not that they suck at driving), and they don't put themselves in the other cars shoes. I hate when people slam on their breaks and then signal their intention to turn. Or when I'm sitting at a green light (no arrows for either direction) and I have my left turn signal on, the guy opposite me doesn't, so I pull out slowly (giggity) waiting for them to drive straight, and then they end up pulling in front of me and turn left.
Almost had a guy take out my car coming home yesterday, was getting onto a freeway (going from 94W to 494S) and as I'm about to come around the curve of the exit to merge with 494 the guy trying to get off 494 is driving over the shoulder and flies right into the merge lane.
Yeah there's some really bad fucking drivers around here, and I think most of it stems from people just being inconsiderate douche bags rather than just sucking at life/driving.
All that being said, I really enjoyed jobs that had me driving around the cities, it does suck trying to stay in the speed limit though. And I prefer to be the one driving when I'm in a car :P
