Title: Turning alt into hero and switching between characters HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello, I had recently had 1 character, made him my hero (I don't remember how), and deleted him. I now have an alt but i want to turn him into my hero. Please help.
Also, if i were to make another character, how would I go about switching characters?

Choose your alt - char other than current hero - here: http://c-rpg.net/index.php?page=selectchar&returnpage=strategusbattlesupcoming
then go again to this page: http://c-rpg.net/index.php?page=strategusgeneralhero
After 7 days your alt will become a hero. Repeat as many times as you wish.
