Its a little boring when you try to stop the horse with a long spear and you cant because of the shielder. I just cannt understand how the shielder can protect the horse's chest from a pike. Once it was that horse jumped over me and I hit it in its stomach and shielder protected it. One question HOW! I think it is a little unfair. Please fix it somehow!

Such a classic. God knows how many horses who ram through my pike in strat battles because of that damned shield they're holding. :P

Works the same if you're down blocking with a melee weapon from horse, same weird block hit box. I'd say it's worse for melee blocking from horseback without a shield, because you have this massive wall of open space that is still being blocked from a melee weapon.
At least with a shield you could chalk it up to "force field" effect.
And did you need to start 2 threads with the same exact topic??

you can also pike through friendly bro, now use fantasy and think of horse as friendly and you no hit him , ok? potato good to. in all serieusness horses get reared by glances , and side hits to the chest to. i think you guys are overreacting on this topic.

Same situation is when you want to shoot horse. From front it's possible if you hit horses head, most of chest shots is taken by shield, from side is almost same situation.

go try cav and you will realise horses are really underpowered if not backstabbing, they just die incredibly fast.
