Its a little boring when you try to stop the horse with a long spear and you cant because of the shielder. I just cannt understand how the shielder can protect the horse's chest from a pike. Once it was that horse jumped over me and I hit it in its stomach and shielder protected it. One question HOW! I think it is a little unfair. Please fix it somehow!

This is surprisingly relevant. I usually don't moan about changes but I don't see how balancing this could go wrong.

+1
Please fix these hitboxes!

It's not a hit box problem, it's a shield problem. Since they have 5 or so shield skill they get a pretty wide area of coverage for their shield. Maybe the pike's hit boxes are wonky though so that could be a problem.

not just the pike... ive tried slashing a guy from behind on horseback, an yet he still blocks my blade with hes shield, even tho hes turning the wrong way...

Working as intended?

Well the only thing I hate about shield on horseback is when the rider can block his back. Never had any problems other then that. But that's why you learn to aim at specific areas.

It's not just shields...it's just blocking from horseback in general.
many times I've been directly behind a lancer (on my lancer) stab him in the back with my lance, and it's blocked because he's holding down block on the lance. Same thing if I go to stab the horse (aiming very low) and I get blocked cleanly by the melee weapon (not a shield) and don't get a hit on the horse.

It's funny, shields do a crap awful job blocking arrows/melee slightly to the side when unmounted, but sit on an equine and they suddenly have an impenetrable force field the size of a house.
