Title: Build 1H Shielder

I played for 2 gen a shielder 18/18...
But i search a good build that swing fast with my balanced champion sword...

I saw a build 21/15... Its better then 18/18?

21/15 and 18/18 are on par. Changing your build won't really increase your attack speed.

You could try 18/21 with more wpf in one hand, but really the difference will not be too noticeable.

You will only notice a very minimal difference ( if any at all ) increasing your wpf. The only way to really increase the speed is to loom it or get a faster weapon.

I played a 15:21 shielser for a loooooong time. I was able to run away, had good shieldskill, so it nearly never broke and I did good damage  I just can recommend 15:21.

I think that you can't make better build then this.

Any shielder build with 18+ in both stats is a good build. 21/15 is OK, but you better have a long weapon and not wear anything heavier than mail, or you will rage at the backpedalers. Str shielders are only effective when they have teammates to coordinate with.

I want use my balanced champion sword!!
 What is the build for this?

I hate light armor (leather or soft tunic)... I use sarranid (46 body)

There's no "the best shielder build", it depends on your style, though personally I would go for 21-18.

ANyway, balanced build liek 21-18 or 18-21 always are okay, no matter which class you play.

You can't make 18/21 and 21/18 builds for lvl 30. New wm patch destroyed no wm builds,it is impossible to play with just 111 one handed wpf.
I had that build for 7 gens,and then people were bitching on forums and devs buffed wm. Now you can make good 21/18 and 18/21 build at lvl 32.

Erm... what? There was patch changing how WM works? When?  :shock: For me 111 wpf was perfectly playable a few weeks ago.

I'm just going to give you the generic 21 -15 shielder build. People say you will rage at s-keys but I didn't find that to be the case. Especially since you use a long weapon.

with 21 - 15 you pack a whallop, you still retain a lot of speed, and your shield is pretty reliable. Oh and you can take a lot of hits if they get past your shield. Plus you only have to convert 2 skill points to get this build.

level 30 -- 70hp     ( 2 skill points converted )

21 str
15 agi

7 - PS
7 - IF
5 - SHI
5 - ATH
5 - WM

146 - one hand wpf

So this is a very easily played build especially since it reaches full effectiveness at lvl 30. It also can be upgraded easier later on.

level 33 -- 70hp

21 str
18 agi

7 - PS
7 - IF
6 - SHI
6 - ATH
6 - WM

Are you interested in duel me?  :D Oh i saw you sayed few weeks ago,well things are changed now, i feel wm is much,much more important now then it was. Nordic champion sword with 111wpf with shield combined it is impossible to play,you will get spammed by every 2h.
I abandoned shielding,just playing in plate with military hammer now.

WM/wpf are the same as they've ever been (same as native). Unless you are playing on some beta test server. WM changes have been promised for years, but not yet delivered.

If you do not mind dying to 1-2 unblocked hits, I have a nice build for you. I would recommend to use light armor (leather etc.), an Elite Cav Shield or a Buckler, and a Blunt or Pierce weapon to make use of the high AGI this has:

Not for the knight in shiny armor, but nice for the fast moving skrimisher or backstabber.

So, you suddenly 'feel' WM is much more important now and thus conclude they finally made the change to wpf, which they announced to do over 1 year ago, without any patchnote or anyone else noticing it?
