Title: Character belongs to someone else. Probably key difference [Resolved]

Hi guys, after comp reformat installed cRPG except using non-Steam warband. Since I activated with my Taleworlds converted key, I think servers think I'm someone else. Can anyone fix this for me?

Im currently getting the same problem i cannont play my char without it coming up when i join a server saying this char belongs to somone else then it kicks me out of the game not sure if this is something with the server or my acc.i have used the repair option in the launcher only getting me to join a server with no equimpent(fresh start) i hope this can be resolved conflicting with the play time of my Clan.

Played with steam before? If so, install steam and then warband. Otherwise, no idea.
