right now, shieldbash doesnt do jack and usually gets you killed when you try to perform it. there is not really any advantage landing shield bash, so:
either give it a blunt damage like 10, or make it faster for shield basher to perform, so he can use the opening shield bash gives.

Shieldbash is not meant as an ultimate stun (like kick), it's meant to push people.
And it's incredibly awesome in small passages, when pushing from high places etc.
One issue is that you don't get credited if you push someone to death :D

you need to perform in at face hug range and even then there is a huge chance the hit doesnt connect. pushing people is nice if they ever stood in one place for at least 3 seconds otherwise you have no chance of pushing someone from a ledge. all this shitty feature adds is trolling opportunities for pushing your achers or team mates off ledge or wall.

If you do it correct, its easy to hit.

Shoves (defend + v) are to create space and provide opportunities for allies to get hits. Neutral nudge (not holding an attack or block + v) and attack nudge (holding a swing + v) are the more offensive of the three.

i have been bashed like 2 times last week... TWO TIMES OVER THE WHOLE WEEK!
that thing is a suicide because everyone will just backpedal, and if you by any miracle land it it is useless anyway because they recover as soon as you attack.

Have_at_Thee is using shield nudge extremely well. When he gets into the facehug range, attack + nudge + attack. Nothing fancy, but this fucks up the momentum, and confuses because it breaks the typical attack - block - attack - block rhythm of 1v1 melee allowing him to attack twice in a row.

untill you use left swing right when he shieldbashes, fucking him over, possibly knocking him down with barmace, and then roflstomping him when he is on ground.

I find it easy and very useful on my hop/one hander. Usefull for when I need to change to my sidearm or put my shield on my back and very usefull for fucking with someone cuase they don't expect it. I mess up on it maybe one out of six times, which I find negligible.
Maybe u just need more practise?

Risk/reward is about right on shield shove. On siege especially, it usually means a gravity kill when you land one, but you get hit if you mis-time it.
All I ask is that:
1. Shove distance be a function of shield skill instead of strength (otherwise you'll see all the 2h strength crutchers running around with a practice shield shoving people across the map)
2. Gravity kills resulting from shoves be credited as a kill, rather than a suicide for the shovee
