Title: Add Flamberge secondary mode - polearm (to use pole wpf with it)
Post by: Nordwolf on August 01, 2013, 11:36:55 pm
I mean, really, it already uses 3 out of 4 as polearm animations, and it's possible to only use 2h wpf? And a lot of the smaller 2hs (considering all other 2hs are smaller) have it.
Leave all the animations same, just two modes for 2h/pole.
Or if you are really great you can make it use both WPF without interfering with secondary modes (it's only possible with WSE as I can remember).

I think it's already underused atm, so it would buff it a bit.

UP: also Great Long Bardiche has better stats then Flamberge and is almost half as cheap, so it won't really impact pole balance

This was suggested by someone else pretty recently. It was a good suggestion.

The idea is to make a possibility to use pole wpf with it, not to make all pole animations. (exactly opposite - leave animations the same)

GLB is unbalanced (but sheathable) and has 6 less pierce damage (18p sucks, 24 is decent).

Not for or against your idea, just wanted to point that out.

Ehh. Sorta neutral about it. Adding polearm mode to it isnt that important imo.

Well, I think Flamberge using using pole wpf is quite logical.

I agree with this so I can be a flameburgher on my main.

Unrelated question, why does the flamberge have an overhead while using a 2h in polearm mode somehow makes it impossible to use overheads. Gib secondary mode 2h an overhead swing.
