Its pointy as hell, it should have thrust damage. I can see it is curved but its barely curved just nerf its cut if balance would be effected.
It looks like it can stab so it should be able imo. Also a thought I had cause it is wide tipped is add a cut thrust so its no good against say plate and mail but leather and cloth should easily be stabbed by it.

I actually played with this fine weapon for a long time. I only used it because it had no slash. Honestly aren't there enough swords with thrust out there?

+1, loved the no thrust. Its a curved sword, enjoy it.

Yep, so little people know how a thrust can screw you over, when it comes out unplanned.

I just like having the option to do it. And if you take the time to look its actually a common technique to stab with this sword. But different strokes for different folks as they say, pun intended. And I have, and use it, and like but I would like more if I stab people in the chest with it occasionally.

Many cleaver/chinese blades users like them because there are no thrust attacks. Either because it prevents doing one when you don't want to, either because they like the challenge (and the high damage, btw :lol:)

What do you guys think about adding a cut thrust though, I think it would be interesting.

I and many others disagree, this weapon is so nice and good because it has no thrust.
If you add thrust you need to give us a way to make it so that we can disable its thrust by choice.
Speaking of bad thrusts that screw you over more than are good --
