It is good, and very interesting.

Oh, and cheesy, of course.

Read the book. The same but better and devoid of irony (when Heinlein wrote "Service guaranties citizenship", he did really mean it). In the movie, the recruitment ads and the general tone is satirical, in the book, not so much. Still, great read.

Don t miss the second and the third!

Pure comedy! (And soooooo bad)

Seriously though...the first one is a classic and so Verhoeven.

Currently caught up in Game of Thrones, will give it a look of course, being the sucker for scifi.

Also as much as I know about the book, the Marines are actually way more armored, and armed than in the movie.

It was some MURRICA thing to make them look very 'merican or something.

Oh, and they don't run around disorganized like in a battle server, hip-firing their Moritas.

Truth hurts, smoothy? Get mad. haha

Never read the book, probably didn't understand the movie, still feel obligated to post a shitty nationalist opinion about it that shit talks America for no reason. This is why no one in the world respects my old friendgy Europeans like yourself.

I think you got Europe mixed up with America.

I kinda liked the American spin to the movie, though.

What made me laugh the most though, is how the asteroid sent by the arachnids only blasted Buenos Aires (which coincidentally happened to be the home town of the protagonist. If an asteroid collided with the Earth, I think we all know what would happen.

First time I ever saw it I was tripping on mushrooms, it was f*cking epic

That movie is awesome.

Just don't watch the sequels. They're painful.

LOL!!!  :D

I watched a movie once when I was tripping... Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children.
It was too intense lol. It didn't look like CGI, it looked like plastic action figures came to life and started doing battle.
When they started flying around and doing limit breaks... shit got too crazy, it was like brain overload lolol.

You should try Joe vs. the Volcano  :P

Seriously though, when I was a much younger man, I saw Nightmare on Elm Street the first time while tripping balls. Still my favorite horror movie

I definitely wouldn't mind shared showers.

There's a cafe in my town with a sign out front which reads, "Showering alone is a waste of water and nakedness! Bathe together!" haha
