Title: Skyrim: What class do YOU play?
Post by: Fredom on July 19, 2013, 09:20:35 pm
Hello guys.
I was thinking a long time about making this topic and finally decided to do it. I am/was ever interested in other peoples Skyrim class/armor decision.
So my question is, what class do You play? What is Your favourite class and why?
Any what armor and kind of class are You playing?
I hope you can tell me that to make me feel better :D
Greetings, Fredom.

Currently playing through as an Altmer mage. Started with destruction then changed to conjuring at about level 10ish, conjuring is so much fun cause you get a minion or two AND get to melee shit! I also play in robes or light armor depending on what mage set i need at the time but you also need alteration and restoration for the wards and armor spells. (also let your huscarl or atronac get aggro first before you slash them with your bound sword :D )

Orc. Dual wield. Max. sneak. Dwarven set that tops out over 85% dmg reduction for me and followers.
Didnt even use all the funny potion abuse methods.
One hit killing everything except the hardest enemies.

Skyrim is a pretty boring and unchallanging game if you take care of your gear and go melee.
Sneak at 100 makes you a god.

Hardly play it...but will have to try armors from all the mods I have.

I play the gipsy:

- Pick-pocket people when they are distracted
- Specialized in lock-picking and housebreaking
- Steal everything i find on my path except silver, silver brings bad luck
- Handling/dealing stolen goods and a bit of smuggling too
- currently planning to craft gold teeth

   SILVER BRINGS BAD LUCK

When I last played, I went stealthy, using a bow and illusion spells.

Watching very tough to kill enemies slaughter themselves for you in the shadows is fun.

Plus, you can abuse calm to constantly backstab an enemy with daggers.

^ that is game breaking

Heavy armored destruction and conjuration mage with many restoration skills halfway gained too.

On the other hand, I leveled most of my way onwards by doing a lot of pickpocketing, in which I have invested some skill points too.

Almost maxed all of my stats to 100 and I love nonchalantly walking around in heavy armor while burning and toasting bandit ass with minions aiding me at the same time.

Well, I did this one build one time where I was a naked khajiit running around with a pugilist ring only. It was pretty fun.

I usually play a warrior with a greatsword, and the last time I played I didn't use shouts at all, trying to make it more balanced for the enemies. Shouting is ezmode.

Hmm very interesting :P
But I was really "excited" of Miraak's build/playstyle etc.
Is he a battle mage? Would his class be funny? I started a new game after 190 hours and currently I am nearly lvl 25 as a Knight with 2-1h 2h, heavy armor and sometimes I skill blocking, ofc smithing :P
Also I love the new solution that you can "respec" after killing Mitaak or if you have lvl 100 at one skill, u can "retire" this skill
Questions in the text, search and find  :D

Going stealth with just a dagger and taking out whole bandit camps one by one is the most fun. The stealth system in Skyrim is somewhat herpaderp and unrealistic sometimes, but it's still better than in most other games these days. It sure becomes OP with 100 skill though, but it's fun and difficult in the early levels.

Miraak is a Gardener, so you have to skill the following:
- Raking
- Potting
- Holedigging
- Deflowering

Yeah, I was interested in playing a Mage since dragon born came out but I haven't been bothered to update my mods for that.

If you don't play a Dunmer character then you are a shameful piece of ass hair upon the majestical body that is the Elder Scrolls series. Class doesn't matter. Only race.

N'wahs.
