I have all 3 of my characters displayed fine on the cRPG site, but when I go into the game it won't allow me to select any of them - they don't even exist.
My only option is to create a new character; which I'd rather not do, can anyone help me recover my characters in-game? As I said, they're not deleted because they appear on the actual site..

You need to manually create the characters ingame too, website and game will be linked together through the ingame profile name (and your serial key).

I've already created my characters in-game. But now they won't appear in the game, but they still appear on the website under the same account.

Are you using the same serial key? What do you mean by "won't appear in the game"?

Its the same serial key, with the same copy of M&B that I got off Desura.
When you go to the character selection screen in-game, it shows only one character (one that I've just had to create now) and if I click the drop down box where my characters name are, it only displays that one.
However, on the cRPG site it displays the three other characters (excluding the one I've just had to make) and their stats etc.. but they don't appear as options to choose from in-game.
I was playing on one of these characters earlier, and when I pressed the edit button (thinking that it would allow me just to change its name) it completely deleted the character from the in-game selection screen but yet it still appears on the cRPG site?

In the game simply create profiles (click the "create" button) with the same name as your characters and you should be good to go.

same issue form me, i create character, play for some time, turn off crpg, next dayy i want to play with it and i cant choose it from char selection ingame.. on website i have it

for me its say' this char belongs to someone else???

i still cant see any of recently made alts, just old ones.. and even if i delete old ones in character menu, after turning off crpg and then turning on, i still have deleted alts on my sliding bar with their visuals.. (i dont talk about website, works fine there)

make sure the name is 1:1 the same like on the website and that the gender is the same like last time you played
that was the problem for me once
