Title: Bow's feature
Post by: Socalus on July 18, 2013, 09:11:07 am
In my opinion and as I know

if a bow has a long string then the speed of released arrow is very fast

but in shop. it's totally different from what i know..

plz fix it or explain that situation.

^Composite and recurve bows are capable of firing much faster than their ordinary counterparts.

The Idea is the high damage bows have heavier and therefore slower arrows.

I don't like this at all but realistically a properly made mongol bow would have been insane hacks 420 in comparison to an english longbow.

A bigger bow takes more force to pull, making it slower to fire arrows (less arrows per minute).

The projectilespeed of the arrows is faster on those bigger bows (the arrow itself travels faster)

I don't see whats weird here?

The projectile speed is actually slower on bigger bows because they most likely use heavier arrows. It's just an attempt at realism.
