Hey, it would be nice if the average k/d rating on the website was based on the last month history only, not the whole history of character.
That way, k/d would be more flexible and would actually provide you information about your progress in killing more and dying less.
While total kills and death count would stay the same may be.
Like that: visitors can't see pics , please register or login
, so my total kill/death count is 324/262, but over the last month I got average k/d of 2, for example.
UPD: the best solution might be kills/deaths ratio per last 1000 rounds for example.
-
as a gen 6 lvl 35 main i like this idea :P
-
I'd rather have both. A lifetime K:D count and a K:D count over the last month. But I suppose you wouldn't need it if the lifetime kill/death count stayed.
-
just recently noticed I have about 13000 kills, holy shit I wonder what the highest count is. Must be in the hundreds of thousands...
-
maybe we should count it with last 1000 deaths?
-
Hardly a priority for already half-arsed devs, forget it.
-
If you can make pie charts for everything, you have time for kd pie charts!
-

k/d per fixed time period is more informative than just a "kills/1000 deaths".
But I like the idea, k/d per 1000 rounds would be the best.
-
From the title you had my curiosity, and now you have my +1.
When you retire and go to the battle server you're going to get killed repeatedly; it's inevitable. The k/d isn't really accurate because of that, and this suggestion fixes that. Though we should still have the lifetime k/d shown.
-
+1 to this.
Overall kd ladder and recent kd ladder would be also cool.

Or even better, imagine, if you will. That each death could be broken down by legitimacy. Like hoplite or other bullshit spear stab queeratry or lame 2 h stab that hits before animation. I like your idea marcopus

Want that, naow!

Well Dread, we both know that it DEFINITELY should not count archer/xbow deaths, right?
-
Ooo ya elly, it wouldn't even show up at all. You could even get a plus kill for dealing with this bullshit

I think they might implement an options for that, like:
"Don't count ranged deaths",
"Don't count backstab deaths",
"Don't count horsemy old friend deaths" etc, for more accurate statistics.
-
What we need is win to loss ratio on a round by round basis.
K:D ratio only tells so much about a player..

I support this 100 percent

Only 3574 kills at 34 lol. I had 15k last time I was lv 34.
Strat ftw :P
ps: good idea. Also what Thomek said, that'd be cuul
-
you forgot to include siege
-
Bump.
Also:

+1 to OP
I like this idea!

worrying over K/D?
really, wtf?
what are you??
8-yr olds playing cawadooty?
-
worrying over K/D?
It can show if you're getting better so it's useful imo. I think this should be implemented if it's not too difficult. Win/loss ratio would be even better though.
I got only 1337 (http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/9515/rwe5.png) deaths at lvl34. Yeah, Strat ftw :)
-
I'd rly like a strat k/d : )

Would people then sign up for the attacking sidein a fief? Or the sidewith worse gear in any battle? Well not saying that everyone will care but anyway

There's quite a difference between worrying about k/d and willing to see your own progress in an objective way, which current k/d isn't.
So yeah, shut up.

That would make archers ignore catapults even more. :P
-
haha, maybe you are right ^^
