You need to be close to him in the Strategus map -> Character's faction -> join

he need to send you link for his faction and just apply......you dont need to be close to any member of that faction....gl!

take it you mean to get someone else to join your faction.. (not you to join a different faction)

EDIT: forgot to say the next patch will have a proper list (according to the devs that is) so it will be easier to find then
