Yeah that's not going to happen if you aren't in a large faction or you aren't a highly seated member of a small faction.

Not that it really is some kind of great pleasure to own one, infact it's going to be some work doing so, alot more than before considering everything has to be crafted now, so it really wouldn't be worth one guy owning a town or a city, or a Faction with only a few members, unless they have big allies they will just get it taken from them with ease. Posession of places on the map is decided by the Factions and the Wars they have.

There are so many newer players that don't even know what strategus is. I only know about it from the rumors and casual mentions on the forum. I've been playing a few months and have never gotten to try it.
