Title: game ruined by admins, \ WHO WANTS A MW LONGSWORD?

so im in game, a guy named mastawho wont stop picking on Lemon of blackfist, and im cool with blackfist so i try to look out for lemon

if mr shine wasnt such a power abusing fucking retard of an admin i might still keep playing the game. but to get banned for defending myself, shine you werent there, even if you werent how the fuck can you not figure out through the logs what was going on...we had to keep kicking masta for an hour cuz he kept coming back after every kick, attacked lemon and griefed him constantly. got to a point we had to kick him at the start of each rnd....he did nothing to help the team and sat there watching rnd after rnd. and when we finally let him back in...he goes straight for me and lemon.

so...i am supposed to just let him kill me? or go run and find an admin? during the middle of a later rnd? " plumbo im gonna kill you" "dont do it" he does it, hits me three times, i am just supposed to forfiet my rnd? i turn and defend myself

next rnd "plumbo im gonna kill you" "you can try"

and he does...and im not letting some little shit kill me in a late rnd. how you cannot put 2 and 2 together from the logs is beyond me, but to be honest shines always been a cunt imo a dumb one. i thought you couldnt outdo your self after making a fool of urself in the Ban Arma thread, but this ,....wow just wow

and yeah its only 24hrs for me and masta...masta who doesnt play anthing but DTV usually...and me..with 3 strat battles lined up.

Why the fuck would i wait it out and come back to this? this game with so much potential and too many fucking flaws to name in one topic. the biggest flaw...the people chosen as admins.

and so im done, and yeah ill probably be super craving to come back in a few days, as there are a ton of really super cool people in this community, but sadly the cons outweigh the pros

I was an admin, and got it removed for Keeping it Real and going against the will of all the other admins, who I admit ruin this game. We are brothers in a way.  Can i have the sword please (stones on market)

yea yea we can make fun of plumbo for crying on forums...

BUT the player MastaWho is notorious for team killing purposefully in DTV. I have  had a few run ins with him and can assure you that he just causes trouble whenever he/she/it is on.

PS. Civil language and well formed messages would have kept your from being banned most likely

Clearly you have issues with me, can't say I'm sure why as I have no idea who you are, but it's not OK to revenge tk. There are multiple ways to get a hold of administrators and there is always ban threads. I don't know the whole story, but I know enough to see that you aren't innocent. Please, in the future try to contact an administrator and always take screenshots.

Plumbo, I've got no problems with you. But you've been around long enough to know (and you're pretty fucking familiar with bans and ban threads) that you should know the rules, and that it's as simple as taking some screen shots and posting a ban thread to deal with people that are griefing.

Your own fault for being a child yourself. Why didnt you just like take a couple of screenies, put a thread up with them in the ban section with explanations and leave the serv till the dude leaves? How bloody hard would it have been to just stay in spec or not play for like 10 minutes till the dude gets banned or disconnects cause he has noone to troll(if you would even call it that. Breaking a simple rule like no tking is not trolling)?

Not that I don't understand the whole "well you shoulda known better than to TK a known griefer who was griefing the shit out of you! you deserved to get ban for trying to settle it yourself!" thing.. but thats really lame too. Why should a player have to allow a known griefer to continually bully him just because there are no admins on? yeah you can post a ban thread but so what? you could end up putting up with shitbag tk/griefer man harassing you for hours before an admin shows up... "well just leave" so because some other guy is griefing you... you shouldn't get to play crpg?

Take screenshots, post a ban thread, and then if the individual keeps team hitting you (keep reporting and taking screenshots) then sure, kill the fuck out of him.  But you didn't take screenshots, you didn't post a ban thread, you tried to take the law into your own hands.  And the law struck you down for being a vigilante.

If I was in your situation, I would suggest taking screenshots and put up a ban thread.  Then if the guy still hits me I would tk him every round until an admin came on and deal with the consequences (I don't think I would get in trouble and would fight vigorously for my cause). 

I've had people in the past team wound me when admins were on (round after round) and I told them if they didn't take care of the problem I would couch lance the guy every round.  Admins just need to be put in their place sometimes.

Well... you actually would still probably get in trouble, because TKing still isn't allowed.  There are a lot of ways to ask for an admin though:

- you can wait for an admin
- you can use 'i' chat to ask if admins are around or point out rules being broken by individuals
- you can join a more populated server and ask for an admin there (DTV is usually lightly populated but Battle almost always seems to have a few admins around)
- you can go to IRC and ask if any NA/EU admins are available.  Some EU admins have NA banning privileges

or

- you can submit a ban request by posting evidence.   Severe actions generally receive longer bans from me (Mastawho for example had no bans on record, and I rarely give a 24 hour ban for a first offense).

I decided mid way through writing the topic that i would give the longsword to Kesh, so my apologies for not editing the title.

not that my apology will be taken sincerely i mean, i am a wild west gunnslingin vigilante thug, cuttin down anyone who disagrees with me...well...that is the picture thats been painted ....but weres the truth at?

I am on DTV, getting attacked by bots and a player who comes once a week to grief people. I know, i am just supposed to let him kill me right? or leave middle of  a 20k xp match?, or take screenies and make a ban post...after i let him kill me?

 Takes 3 days for you admins to look into the situation...you ban the guy for one day...and boom , he comes back saturday not even knowing he got banned....yeah, thats effective.

If your gonna post the logs, post the ENTIRE logs, dont fucking edit it to your liking to paint me as the agressor.

POST the whole logs that show the entirety of the situation. That would show we had to kick the guy at the start of every rnd...only for him to come back and grief some more, show the multiple warnings given to the guy, show that we gave him a second chance...and he still attacked us, show that he struck me multiple times and got multiple warnings before i struck back

SHOW THE TRUTH. but you didnt, cua Mrshine...your a cunt admin who doesnt give a shit about protecting the players, your more interested in showing off your power and authority to ban people.

An active player, who plays daily, gets banned for helping a DTV squad deal with a guy who comes once a week to fuck with people.

Thats CRPG. and with admins like Shine....3 words gentlemen, you've heard them before and they are just as relevant now as the first time you heard them.

Well yes, I should have stated I would have checked IRC, or another populated server (including either EU or NA).  I'm saying if this was like 3 in the morning and no admins were on, I wouldn't let one guy ruin my fun (or make me unable to play until an admin came on). 

So "StonedSteel" did you try to contact admins in IRC, or go to another server?  If not, then you should know better than revenge tk'ing

Shine's not a TS admin. I am, though. Wanna try it on me :twisted:

TBH, I believe Stoned should have a lower ban time in relation to the incident. CONTEXT is important. The server, did EVERYTHING possible to get that guy off. One guy posted in the BAN SECTION to come on and remove him(NA Badmins kept moving the request to EU so it got slowed down). Thus I'd say that the MASTAWHO should get a longer ban in relation to his actions(CONTEXT) while Plumbo should have had his ban shortened(like a 4 hour ban) to show he broke the rules, but in context they did do what they could.

Do not leave cRPG... I tried it several times I have been out and about a lot but i just missed something....cRPG  .

It is hard work getting a masterwork and you just want to give it away like it's shiet.

Do not GIVE IT AWAY

Sorry to hear your shitty experience plumbo.

DTV sucks for the trolls and even some of the admins.

I remember I had problems with an admin who kept kicking me because he thought I didn't have a weapon when I did.
He was angry because I decided to unequip my armor to make some money. He kicked my like 3-4 times in a row, even after I explained that I had weapons equipped and was not breaking any rules.

I posted a complaint on "game admin feedback" forums and nothing really happened.
It's no secret there are some completely immature and terribad NA admins out there, but they aren't all bad apples.
Asshole admins are like assholes irl, they are an unavoidable in the long term.
It's no secret positions of authority attract the type of people most likely to abuse that authority.

Hopefully you come back after a break from C-rpg. NA servers need more people who actually play.
Make sure Kesh is willing to give you back your longsword if you decide to come back.

TBH, I believe Stoned should have a lower ban time in relation to the incident. CONTEXT is important. The server, did EVERYTHING possible to get that guy off. One guy posted in the BAN SECTION to come on and remove him(NA Badmins kept moving the request to EU so it got slowed down). Thus I'd say that the MASTAWHO should get a longer ban in relation to his actions(CONTEXT) while Plumbo should have had his ban shortened(like a 4 hour ban) to show he broke the rules, but in context they did do what they could.

He isn't an admin on TS and you are? That shall be fixed.

Hahaha, when has there ever been such a thing as a good admin? Sucks what happened to you dude. I am surprised though about MrShine doing wrong. From what I remember he was a pretty stand up guy.

I actually should apologize to shine,  coulda been any admin that did that to me, and i am not raging anymore at the admin, so much as a rule i strongly disagree with.

And it doesn't matter what the admin thinks of the rule itself, their job is to enforce these rules.

And the rule is: your not allowed to TK someone, even if you absolutely should, and have to in order to keep playing whatever game mode you are in.

And while its overall a good rule, there are some cases where the rule causes some problems. Thankfully its usually in a mode no one really gives a shit about ( DTV ).

But if you do play DTV, it is beyond frustrating to have some one come in and ruin the round, and your not allowed to do anything to stop them.

Again its a rule i strongly disagree with, but will fallow from now on
