so much fun listening how people play strat battles while i am unavaialble to join for like 5 -10 minutes as awlays ......
incorrect authorication key and shit...
when will you fix it?

I lost connection after 20 mins. and i cant now rejoin (Wrong Auterization key or whatever)

its funny if you refresh server list and see the number on eu3 jumping from 60 to 58, 59, 56,54....

1 hour after start still can't get in (now getting incorrect authorization key) on all EU servers... can connect to NA and CHN servers no problem

how many times has this already been said? incorrect authorization is a problem with the taleworlds server. Nothing the devs can do, and nothing you can do unless waiting.

That happens only in strat battles..

it also ruins the XP of the players who can play :wink:
21 - 29k per tick is a shame.
anyway it made me possible to kill 3 Weapon Racks and 2 Forward Spawns so im happy^^

Long time ago (few months in fact), EU server started to bug itself, when too many people try to join it same time.
In most cases, it works like this:
People wait on EU_3 to start strategus battle, then all get kicked, and try to join EU_3 same time. Server let first 50-60 people in, but then for some reason stops responding for everyone else who try to join it (whole machine, not just EU_3 - so EU_1, EU_2, EU_3 etc). It looks like some kind of network attack protection or maybe something completely different, hard to guess.
After some time it normally unbugs itself, most of the time after 5-10 minutes (this might suggest network attack protection). But today it didn't fix itself yet, so no one can join official EU servers atm. Maybe the whole machine need to be restarted this time to fix this problem.
The first thing I can think of (from game code side) is to not kick people before strat battle.
This is a bit going around the problem, but the question is - why do you kick people before strat battle in first place? You can change game mode in fly, you don't need to kick people before that. Without kick, hundred of people woudn't try to join server at the same time, so server won't bug itself because of it.

The kick is needed because the Server needs to get connected with the Strategus Department. Therefor you need to get everybody down and change it completely that the equipments from strat can be transferred to the gear list in the server...

From what I remember, server sends new equipment data to clients after game mode change. But, as this particular part of code isn't thing I spent too much time analyzing (also I don't have crpg source code, and native code do things slight differently, because it don't use outside database), I might be wrong here.
Few times I managed to join strategus battle right after server kicked players, but before it changed game mode. So I saw duel mode, changing game mode screen (duel mode summary with empty players list, me as spectator), and then strategus battle started. Everything worked perfectly fine, server put me into right team, I saw right equipment without problems :).
Anyway, it's just a suggestion. If kick really is needed, then something else should be done to fix this annoying issue.

I don't know if that's related or not. This issue started to happening some time ago. Before that, it was all fine.
I remember one patch added "quick connecting to server" feature. Normally you had to wait about 4-5 seconds to join server, but some patch (was it WSE2?) changed that, and now you can connect in 2 seconds.
Maybe quicker connecting to server also has negative effect, when more players try to connect same time?

Maybe strategus should be stopped until devs fix that shit (if it's not caused by TW) ?
