My gtx 570 nvidia card keeps crashing.
It's not crashing, it's automatically quiting the game when you are about to lose.

Try older drivers?
I did... didnt help :?
I deleted the current version, and windows installed an old driver i think it was 306 instead of the new one, loaded up crpg and same shit..
-
As in, did you do a clean install of the drivers?
-
Jep :?
-
Trying one of the solution i read on the Nvidia forums.
Right now ive disable java in the browser and 3d vision... so far crpg runs smoothly in wse fingers crossed it will continue to do so
-
Hmn.... it still happens  HELP!!!
-
maybe videocard is just not compatible with ur PC or something?
-
is this a new card? how long have you had it?
it sounds like the card is just getting used to things if its new then that might be it,
what about cleaning it if its old or used.
-
If it is a new card, you might also try to use your warranty to get it serviced or something. I know of at least one person, who had the same problem and did this.
-
The inside of you butt is warm enough to hardboil an egg!.. Not sure if it helps, but it's a start!
Also, might be overheating. Check the fans, check the core temperature, check the wiring, check if there is enough airflow around your cabinet. Try a UT3 engine game with max graphic settings, see if you get the same issue ( CoD, Borderlands etc. ).
-
Is it still running on default values or are you overclocking it somehow? Did you overclock the old card and plopped the new one in w/o a reset of the drivers to default values.
Also, as written above... could be a heat problem when it's to close to the cpu fan airflow or something. Keep the pc case open and see if it helps...

some solutions i found.
-you might try to play with directX 9 instead of directX 11.
-Otherwise check your temperature, as earlier noticed this can cause the problem.
-you can try to reseat the card this might help.
-Also check your drivers, using a beta driver can fix the problem too.
If you would be so kind to post the full system error it'll be much easier to solve the problem.
Also do you get this error only when playing cRPG or also when lauching other games?
I personally think its a driver problem, try a 310.
hope it helps :)

The 320.xx are known for having tonnes of issues. Even reports of frying cards.
Monitor the GPU frequency + temperature + fan speed (I found 320.11 was OCing my card without increasing fan speed)
I think 314.22 is the last decent driver for most people. (Will need a clean install, the 320.xx seem to be a bitch to uninstall)
If the artifacts continue, then I would RMA your card (it's probably been damaged).

Hmn.. ive tried cleaning the case and card, plus ive pulled it out and sat it back in. Also deleted drivers and did a clean install again n again... lets see if shit works out
