but after some hours ( 8 ? ) you can't cancel it.

but you will lose EVERYTHING, every soldier and every item.

also, it's 4 or 5 hours.

As attacker you have what, 1 or 2 hours to reinforce?  (I think it's 2 hours), and within those 2 hours you can change a siege to a raid, or you can cancel a battle.  But you will lose all your troops and equipment if you do that.

Your best bet is to try and get a hold of the person/faction you're attacking and try to work out a solution.
