I simply don't think its needed and pretty unrealistic to draw some arrow which is on fire out of your quiver.

Hmmm alright. but devs can always make a longer animation

Some animation for setting the arrows on fire would make me like this :)

They can make it i guess. but not that it gets on fire, u have to use fantasy for it, like napoleonic wars.

Sure, but first go check, you can probably find some evidence on youtube: fire arrows: No worky vs ppl: accuracy so bad it is for attacking buildings and siege machines, not firing at ppl.

Maybe for sieges, for attackers and defenders alike.

Would require a new item--a brazier or the like. To use fire arrows, you'd have to stand within arm's reach of it, and if you move away the arrow doesn't light.

It'd also require "Oh god I'm on fire" animations and shit. Plus calculations for damage over time and burning, to apply for both people and buildings. What would the purpose of burning down buildings be in Strat anyway? Decreased population on the map? Decreased prosperity?

No, I don't see this being worth it, especially if it's just for combat's sake.

You walk up to a teammate with a torch and hold F for 2-3 seconds to "Ignite Arrow".

THIS I could get behind: Archers needing a buddy to light each arrow.
