Can we take some more armours from the Eastern Armour OSP?

I think they are very good. They all are just retextures of Native armours but they looks very good.

We could maybe take a couple of the warhorses because face it, they looks awesome.

Also they are some Silver Lamellar Gauntlets which I want!

The shields could be good too. Maybe the Kapikulu could stop using the Huscarls Round Shield :P

I just think they look awesome and should be added in. Not the whole pack maybe just some of the stuff.

What I would really like to see is some 2handed middle-eastern curved swords.  So far none in the game so i ssubstitute the miaodao (chinese) as the closest thing, but would be nice if sarranid style 2handed fighters had something to fit their theme.

It's a shame the devs never added these models, they look so awesome, plus that plated charger, gotta be mine!

Yeh thats a shame. On my Eastern looking alt I use the Dadao, Closest Thing I could find.

Korgoth we (Kapikulu) were thinking about suggesting those also but we have 2 awsome guys (Dede & Noctivagant) who are working on Turkish/mid eastern items so we wish to see their work before adding those . I also voted yes cuz im sick of seeing russian shit every pages of item list.So why not having shit loads of eastern stuff ?  :mrgreen:

BUT!
Shields would need to be balanced, so they are not better than Steel Shield - or I will beg for another heirloom reset, because I heirloomed Steel Shield already. ;)

textures are good of the sarranids but they are unrealistic. the khergit and vagir stuff looks shit. and the european shields and horse armor looks like they were made of plastics.

Well why can't we just add them in? Who cares about European armour, yes I would like more European armour but we need to wait for someone to make more European OSP's I guess.
