Jake, you have been charged with scurvy (http://c-rpg.net/index.php?page=battlesupcoming#!?page=battledetail&id=4001)! Prepare yourself for CITRUS INTAKE.

Real talk I probably won't be at this battle, so please sign up as early as possible to ensure you are hired, as I am the only one in this faction/able to mess with rosters.

What is this faction and why are you the only one in it?

Psychological warfare, thee hath gotten the better of me.

This is the bandit and brigand faction I've been vaguely thinking about making for fun since Strat 2- it was always going to be a one-man faction- well, maybe two. Big factions are for big farts, and kissing the ass of a big faction is for people who crave the pinkeyes, after all.

I kind of feel that only counts if you are truly independent. E.g. hiding behind bigger factions for support, receiving money, troops, gear, mercs etc from them and acting upon their policies, diplomacy and strategies just makes you part of that faction - under a different name - and your undertaking a moot one.

It's easy to say "I'm just merc'ing", but I would love to see if your clan's policy differs at all from your actual cRPG clan (choaps) and real life affiliations (FIBDGLBDLDBL).

Its incredibly hard to do that and completely unreasonable to request such a thing. It is bad enough to start off as a faction this far into strat let alone as a small independent movement. Independent side groups from big factions will probably never go up against their big sibling clan and will side with them on my cost cases, because they are a trusted Ally and those are hard to find.

This is the first I've heard of Mala's plans, but I know full well that Mala will go about this as legitimately as possible and do his own thing. Mala will have his own diplomacy and guidelines that will be his own choices, and it doesnt matter if it differs or agrees with Chaos. You also forget that Mala has been highly active in this strat and probably stockpiled a lot of gear/gold/troops and even if Chaos did lend out some freebies, who really cares? They believe in his cause enough to donate to him so its none of our business.

Hey I'm by no means saying that any kinds of affiliations or working together/receiving help in general are a bad thing - I am saying that leaning up against The Man and The System are moot points if you still want to benefit from them.

If you pick a new course, stay true to it, or at least don't condemn the old one.

If I am Little John, then CHAOS is Sherwood Forest, and is being clear-cut anyways. Hope that analogy explains it well enough, because this is not, actually, a diplomacy thread- but I'll go ahead humor you one last time under a spoiler.

Please apply for my battle (http://c-rpg.net/index.php?page=battlesupcoming#!?page=battledetail&id=4001) if you're going to be around, Gmno, dynamike, and everyone else.

they can hardly even offer me a place to hide from my own bill collectors.

You are always welcome to use Mechin's S&D and you will find sanctuary in my village if you are in need.

Good plan gmno! Lure the filthy chaos bandit to your lair and murder him in his sleep like a true scumbag ninja!

and even DL/Anders. More colors on the map should be encouraged, even if it's just on dots and not villages.

And even?! Whats that mean huh. DO i need to go bandit hunting on you?! Also, FCC stole my color, though I think it might be a tad(tad) bit more orange.

I'd be more likely to use him as bait to bring you over here so I can attack you.

Gmno tried to lure me in with promises of gold and goods in exchange for a smoke bomb battle, but I know better- leave that mess to Cyranule, one of his five actions for July (thanks though, Gmno, you're a bro).

I've only got 500 men, Anders, and probably less after this battle, which I'll likely lose due to lack of mercenaries. But I dare you to come find me all the same, babe.

Please sign up for my battle if you will be around and you want to (http://c-rpg.net/index.php?page=battlesupcoming#!?page=battleroster&id=4001).

You can always buy more from me. It is what I'm in business for.

I'll fight for you, and if you need gear/gold/troops swing around Tismirr some time.

We were outnumbered almost 3:1 and still almost won because FCC employed horrendous tactics. Sorry we couldn't pull a miracle off for you this battle!

What a surprise, a faction which regularly complains about battle times and being "out-nerded" at anything other than "primetime" more than any other faction manages to get a full roster at 5am! They must have truly had the lord on their side.

Thanks for those who showed up, sorry I wasn't around to hire any more folks. I decided that while I could have stayed awake/woken up early, secured a full roster and done all the arduous crap associated with that, sleeping would feel better. You want to know something? I was right.

Rest assured that Jake was delivered his citrus (among other things), and is no longer oppressed by the overpowering weight of the scurvy which begot him. Humanitarian aid mission complete. Until next time, my rotten little apples.
