What do you think? 


3 types in the linked video.   

-Only way to land solid hit would be at least feinting once before swinging in the intended attack direction.
-More damage with additional feints up to 3 for maximum efficiency, crush-through on 2h variant. (As opposed to holding strikes as that wouldn't be possible with flail type weapons)

been suggested many times, flexible weapons are not possible in warband.

If I knew how to code, I'd try putting a rag doll on the chain end of a flail, but I know this is not possible for many reasons.   Maybe they will add these type of weapons to their new game since it's running on different engine.

Stats are simply placeholder, I obviously don't know much about 1h or 2h when comes to balance.

It actually doesn't even have to be free moving in game. You can just create an animation to make it appear free moving. But i'm not sure that is even possiblr with Warband's engine.
