Hello, sorry if i am in the wrong section.
I thought the steel pick had knockdown in its secondary mode, but rnd after rnd of DTV and 0 knockdowns. With a Ibiran mace I am getting knockdowns like crazy. Ibirian weighs 2, and does 28b....Steel Pick weighs 2.2 and also does 28b
But...i've yet to knock someone down with it...i even tried using it with my str whore.
Which brings me to question 2: With my str whore.... I had 0 WEP PRO in 1h.......and i am swinging just as fast. soo
Wep Pro does dick all? no point in agility? I mean...i was about to build a 18-18 guy, you know, so i could swing and move fast.
Ath 4 you move fast enough, even in full plate,,,and i am not swinging any slower or faster with more wep pro
This mod is making me go bald from all the time i spend scratching my head trying to figure this shit out.

I tried Stoned's steel pick in DTV, but I also couldn't knock anyone down with secondary mode, but with my polearm main. But I get a lot of knockdown with my spiked long hafted mace though.
And I told you should post in the Tech Issues section :P
I noticed that some of the picks in the weapon shop doesn't say knockdown, but not sure about the secondary mode.

But it's ok, because we got the warhammer, knockdowns everything and looks way cooler than pick

woah woah,,,i coulda sworn it had knockdown, plus, i kinda figured every blunt weapon has a chance for knockdown, ie, poleaxe doesnt say it has knockdown on the site, yet you use it in game and volla, it has knockdown with its secondary

the steel pick still 2-3 shots tin cans and sometimes 1 shot to the head can take 80%, adding knockdown to it would make it very OP. PLus it feels like to me that 1h knockdown, knocksdown every time

You can one shot any dope holding a swing while running towards them and hitting them directly in the face. I recently one shotted a dude with a helm on with a 32 cut fighting axe and 6 PS. The steel pick is fine and is in the game for a reason. Its no more op than any other weapon in game.

Oooooo and I got shot thru a masterpiece heavy board shield like it wasn't even there from a mile away and almost one shottedby a mallet with a 10 pound shield and the fucking pick with 64 reach is overpowered! SSolo many county players that know jack and shit. Oooo and some tin cans use the bare minimum to wear plate so they can zoom around the battlefield. 18 star and 6 if is weak as fuck and any pierce goes thru plate

come come now Dread.....clearly the practice dagger don't match the pick
Even with out the knockdown, its the best mace prob, 28b with 100 speed? and you dont need any WPF to use it and still hit hard? yeah, its OP
and yeah i get that with skill you can do well with ANY weapon....but we are not all San of CHAOS who can down half a team with a Hand Axe.....you give him a steel pick..he will down the WHOLE team hahaha
awe...was really hoping for that knockdown...not that you need it with 13 PS, but it would have been the icing on the cake-o-exploits i got baking in my brain

Umm why would you compare a peasant weapon like a dagger to a top tier weapon? That's silly. And furthermore an elders rondel dagger gives it a run for its money. You don't need wpf for any weapon. Pick up a fucking longsword or staff or war spear. Stop the madness. The flanged mace has aost the same stats as the pick blunt mode. Your also forgetting the length issue. It has 64 reach! The rondel dagger loomed.3 times is still scarier to me

Also they needed it from 35 pierce to 34 and made it 13 star requirement. The pick was a badass weapon in IRL.

You forget it only has 64 reach. It's one of the good 1h if you really know what you are doing. Otherwise, stay the fuck away from it.

...sure dont feel like 64 reach. Was just reading a forum post on the worst ghost reach weapons...i know it says 64...but i swear its more like 80...anything in this mod with a slight curve in it somehow doubles the reach hahaha...a bit of blocking skill, full plate and a steel pick can work wonders, even without the knockdown.
anyway, questions answered, thx for getting back to me

There is no curve. 2h has more ghost reach. Your also planting a ping based game. Ghost reach is more ping wackiness I believe

Good luck hiltslashing with 64 reach :lol:
