This is a simple community poll requesting input on the topic of the mechanic of kicking and blocking.
The intent behind the poll is to question the mechanic with the following reasoning:
" Kick was modified recently & prior to the addition of nudge. During that modification the length of the kick was increased slightly, as well as an addition of a slight rotation during the animation. Also, the ability to block while kicking was disabled.
Assuming that the reason the ability to block while kicking was removed was to allow the community to be more receptive to the "experimental" changes in kick feature which "may" make it "seem" overpowered, with the addition of nudge i feel it is now "OK" to consider allowing kicking while blocking again.

I really want kicks to be like in native.
-Able to block 3 directions, but not able to block thrusts.
-Non-absurd range.
That's all I want.

Kicking is easy as fuck now. Especially with macros. No need

Dont you know the E key... you only press it once and the whole kick animation is made. macro

I think kicking is implemented OK atm
I would rather not buff kick just to counter other similar mechanics like nudge. Better to just make all disables hard to pull off or implement player skill based counters (not this random crap like kick chamber)

No I think with the kick range increase you need to be punished if you miss a kick. Kicks don't really need to be buffed, I'm awful with kicks, so when I start noticing a higher success rate landing them, you know they don't need to be made any stronger.

Kicking while blocking was a low risk high reward move which is utter bullshit.
If you miss the kick, who cares you just blocked his hit so theres no way he can hit you, if you get contact with the kick you get a free hit.

Nice to see a poll like this, so a + for that, but a definite no one the reimplementing of the block-kicking.

Kicking now nets you a free hit if you succeed and gives your opponent a free hit if you fail, seems fair to me. Besides, it is incredibly easy to land a kick.

Or make it depending from WPF, like WPF 160 or so you can block while kicking.

I want my kicks back that's why i am not playing with my 2h hero anymore :shock: and ofc. yes i can still kick someones ass but not like my old times :wink:

I really don't see a reason why it shouldn't be. This is quite a lot like removal of jump throws. On that account, bring back jump throws too. It was a pointless decision. Abolish it already.
