Just had this idea while playing the new c-RPG, i propose we add a reward system for contracts e.g.
Contract:Kill 1 or more players
Difficulty:Beginner
Reward:50-100 gold
This way it gives new players something to work towards whilst learning at the same time(Think of it as an official c-RPG tutorial for levels 1-10). Also this could benefit older members by scripting the contracts to follow the players level e.g.
Character level:30(example)
Contract: gain a headshot from 30 yards with a throwing weapon
Difficulty:Experienced
Reward:15,000-20,000 gold & 100,000 XP
What do you guys think, feel free to give your opinions.

It feels a bit too CoDish to me :/
I mean I like cRPG cos I don't have to think, well a bit now with upkeep. But not much
It would also result in more tk's, as people desperatly try to fufil their contracts
And it would need to be balanced somehow. You can't have a thrower contract for 15k gold and exp. Because for a inf, they'd have to get about 10 kills for the contract to be of the same value and therefore quantity of reward
Maybe it's a good idea, just seems like buffing good players. Also, I'd would rage if there was a time limit for contracts. That'd be stupid tbf
And if it does get implemented, NO contracts for being last alive/surrviving for a certain amount of time
But maybe for being the first death ;)

The rewards displayed above are examples, i just thought this will give new players a chance instead of just rushing in and getting slaughtered, plus it will give them something to work on while playing.

Well, i have played a few other games/mods that have this. It is actually pretty fun, a sort of an optional side-goal to try and achieve. Makes the game more varied and fun. If this were implemented in the right way, it would be pretty cool, i think.

People would try fulfilling their tasks instead of winning the rounds - bad idea

You can add some tasks if you want, but give no rewards for them, else like Torp said, people wouldn't care about the round and just do their task that gives them a better bonus.
And there's still people who will do thoses tasks, just for the fun anyway. Or by "accident".
But i don't see how you can keep track of such achievements without having to use fraps everytime you play, waiting for the kill.

+1
people would also do it, because they would like to have earned more achievements than their friends.
Steam has achievements liek this on many games, and even though there are no rewards, people still try to get them.

Well we could just forget about the rewards and just put them in as achievements instead for fun.
