Hey I'm new, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to purchase armor/weapons before level 20 and what to buy as a guy going for 2h weps?

First , you should buy light armor like leather/mail as armor , and axes or bastards swords for beginning.

Then , when you 'll have at least 100k , you can purchase a plate and greatswords, but take care about repairs -> you need to choose your gear according the situation.

Light tier gear and a bastard sword I would recommend to use before level 20+

2h players must use Kuyaks and Greatswords. As a helmet, I recommend Vaegir War Mask, Nordic Warlord Helmet or Barbutte.

I know, it's confusing at first, the website creates the illusion as if you had a lot of choice, but really, these are the only items useable by 2h class if you don't want to be laughed at.

You can take plenty of gear from them, without a need to buy it. And don't loom items by yourself.

And before you start buying common gear (stuff +0) from the shop, check the marketplace for cheaper offers first. You will likely save about half the amount of its gold price. =)
