Title: Teutonic Paladin DTV ART Pic.
Post by: MountedRhader on May 31, 2013, 01:17:29 am

A picture I synthesized myself using Gimp 2.8. It features my main cRPG character on wave 3 of DTV (on everyone's favorite round). I'm wearing my Gothic plate (with a white cape thrown in there for effect).

Looks awesome dude...but where am I?  Did you take a screenshot and alter it?  Whatever you did, I'm impressed.

With Gimp only and nothing else? That's amazing... :o

Nice brother, I like the mood you got there.

Pretty sure if it is 27 to 1, you've already lost.      :D

Backpedal + use the integrated rotor on your flamberge = win against bots :D

Excellent painting  :!:

Well, in DTV the virgin counts as a person. So it is only 1 when all the human players have died... meaning he should have lost already, hehe.

But agreed, excellent painting nonetheless.

My mind instantly thought "Guild Wars 2" upon seeing this image.

I must say that your choice of image that you chose to synthesise is rather fitting! :D
Good work nonetheless, I'm always jealous of people who can do any form of image editing! :)

I can pay you 100k if you make one picture for me.

By the way, what wave is it?

Great image, love it.
Is that a hint of a white tree on your chest? The guy reminds me a lot of some Gondor soldiers.

I would say nomads with horned helmets, as the angry shadows remind me of horses and have archers on top.
He mentions it's the third one, and iirc, it goes peasants, bandits, nomads.

Oh they were just looking like demons.

Remember our conversation concerning effect over content? I thought about making it 2 to 27 but then the broad masses would ask where the other person is.

I have taken on more nomads before, as the last man standing. This is sort of a middle-ground = more believable to people who have not seen me in DTV.

You are quite right! Backpedal comes in handy sometimes! I like to add a bit of fluidity to my swings, though. Right left right left, swing around and overhead, kick, overhead, kick + nudge, right left. Never ending fluid stream of attacks in my head.

Indeed! Thank you kindly.

It would be unfair to Jona to make one for you. I already denied his request at 100k. I must uphold my principles, sorry if this displeases you. And it is wave 3 of round 3 (3:3).

Great image, love it.

That is deliberate. Nomads are my mortal enemies, and as such, are rendered here as they are in the light, in the mind rather, of the Teutonic Paladin.

And to answer your question, Moncho: no, the White Tree is not deliberate, it is just the lighting from the snow. But I see it now!

I guess you're NA, since I've never seen you on EU DTV's.
And don't remove Vivi from your player count, she's a formidable opponent. Once saw her punch Serfonz to death

Also its a ROUND not a wave

Yes, I reside in North America currently.

And here in North America, on our servers, we refer to the individual appearances of enemies within any consecutive round as "waves". There are three waves within a round, you see.

On the Nomad round captured in the Art, the very last wave is shown.

I know the amount of waves in rounds, and here we refer to them as waves as well, Nomads being 3rd round as well, which probably caused confusion here.
