Title: [Siege] Round time dependent on amount of players
Post by: NuberT on May 28, 2013, 01:29:51 pm
Basically what the title says, as it becomes kinda impossible to defend a castle with 15 players for 7 minutes.

players:        round time:
70+               7 minutes
51-69            6 minutes
0-50              5 minutes

Won't still be perfect, as it depends on the map and the teams as well..

Credits go to some randomer on siege.

IMO if the players are >40-50, defenders should have a bit more players, due to the fact that they spawn after 30 secs.

Defenders 60% of the current in game players and attackers 40%.

What do you think about this guys?

I play a lot of siege and Panos, I don't agree with your statement. Whenever i'm on attacker/defender it seems balanced each way. On some maps though defenders are at a disadvantage. With an ok team you don't need 60% on one side

Time should be changed, the problem now is to set it properly so it's all balanced.

Might work as well, the best would be to try out different settings and let the playerbase decide, which is the best.
Reduced respawn timers might also be worth a try.
