Title: Better voicecom menu ("Q")
Post by: Patoson on May 26, 2013, 12:38:30 pm
Whenever you use this menu - for example, to quickly apologise by pressing "QQA" - your mouse and keys are locked until the menu is gone and sometimes it's more of an inconvenience than something useful.

Would it be possible to change it so it didn't lock your controls? Native/commander mode orders menus don't.

If it were possible, perhaps change out the Native commands for the voice commands? The only problem that would create would be placing banners.

The thing is that when that menu is open, the same button has two different functions. For example, using QQ and then moving forward would give the pay attention command instead of any other you might want.
QG to bring the global menu would make you drop your weapon (unless you have rebound the dropping key)

Thats why I prefer it as it is, rather than doing something accidentally.
