Title: A Fragmented Empire
Post by: LordLargos on May 25, 2013, 11:30:12 pm
A once great empire, perhaps the most powerful in all of NA has fragmented into multiple factions over the past week. With HoC declaring indepdence from the VE, Peterguis's new kingdom and MB becoming it's own faction Veluca is weaker than ever. What shall come of the once great Velucan Empire, will thier enemies hit them when they are weak, will thier former allies turn thier backs on them, will they become a footnote of history, or will they restore thier former glory? Only time can tell what might become of the mighty Velucan Empire.

The Velucan Empire may have fallen, but the roots of it, The Kingdom of Veluca, will never die.

Well said. Veluca shall live on.

In these troubling times it seems to be that FCC is using this to their advantage. No doubt will they seek out the murderers, rapists, and misfits of the now crumbling empire to join its ranks. I have witnessed their evil with mine own eyes in my travels to Sargoth and beyond; they are calling to arms boys, ripped from their mother's bosoms to fight and die for their greedy ambitions. Not even the royal serving boys are safe! The echo of hastening whips on the backs of their blackfist and remnant slaves can be heard even from Rebache. The hounds now plunder the South, with no direction or strategy. Their savagery will come in handy for their next overlords. The only question remaining is who will hold the leash, the side of righteousness or the side that will bring down hellfire and yawshawns on to this great land?

And woe be to all as FCC continues to empower those who were once oppressed and continues to promote free trade in the lands of Calradia. Freedom grows and spreads in their wake and the people rejoice and choose their own destinies. Truly these villains hold nothing sacred as they abolish the old ways of feudalism in favour of equality.

Bonesaw and his hounds will decide who they wish to be friends. I do not believe your hate speak will sway that decision.

The warriors of BS clan still hold very close ties with the dogmen of the sands

12 free trading fiefs out of 23 is free trading to you? 20%+ tax rates at pretty much all of these free trading fiefs is undesirable to many. Open all your fiefs and set the tax at 5% and then come lecture "the oppressed" about equality. As royal squire, I thought you to be more informed of these matters, matey.

The Terror Rises is the slogan of the BS Terrortops who are an elite unit of soldiers formed entirely out of hand picked volunteers by Bale; they are tasked with destroying those who would oppress us and spreading fear amongst the rank of such villains as yourself.

I assumed this game would turn into Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Really a turn for the best. Good luck in all your independent endeavors.

Oh man... If this was RoTK then based solely on the map positions... FCC would be Wei, VE would be (a larger) Wu and Occitan/SS would be Shu... It kind of makes sense in that Arowaine thinks he is the hero Calradia needs and that Kesh is a nasty tyrant and VE just kinda chill. I dunno if I can agree with FCC being the ruthless "evil" ones... but on the bright side... at least Wei wins... kind of... actually if I remember right, the close advisers of the (not so popular outside of Wei) Cao family end up in charge and unite China as Jin. Does that make me the adviser who ends up winning?

anyways. Wu... err VE will survive in some fashion; maybe not as VE but TKoV, HoC and MB independent once more, but not to be underestimated!

I'll introduce you to the best game of all time. Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 for the PS2. It comes on a CD.. not a DVD... a CD.

Is it wrong that I've never played DW3. Just the ones after that? I never knew about it until DW4 and after.

I also started with 4 and quite enjoyed it! I liked samurai warriors 1 as well cause it had the most epic character creator that made you run 3 random challenges to determine your char stats and some of the challenges were so brutally hard that your char would just be total shit because you did poorly on the challenge so you had to make a new char. Good times.

I remember samurai warriors.. man I liked that better than DW to be honest. The way to make your character was sweet.

Lu Bu just waves his giant dong over the Hu Lao gate and kills 500 men single handed, what a jerk.

HoC is going North Korean style dictatorship. I wont be seen in public as much, only for official state business and Glorious leader ceremonies. If you wish to get a glimpse into the "Green regime's" plans and ideals, you'll need to get an appointment with Warborn or Soturin. Other than that we are going to be closed to the outside world and all the dirty politicians that go with it. We welcome a fight if there is to be one, for I do need to blooden  my new "BoneSaw youth brigades" for later conflicts anyways. Until then I shall be inside looking out at the madness all around me from within the safety of my armies protection.

Dynasty Warriors 2 and 3 were the best :P

Also why is murder boner attacking New Ergellon castle?  Is MB and TKoV already at war, or just fighting over one castle?

MB was worthless before as an ally and truly wont be much now without TkoV to wipe their asses and count their arrows for them. I wouldn't imagine an official declaration of war will come for they don't know the rules very well and or don't care. The whole "I'm to cool for video games" attitude will be their only reply as always, but for some reason they still play. I look forward to jamming my ashwood deep into some  "morning boner" bellies or whatever they are called.
